Rev. Guy Lynch
Full Time Minister
Rev. Guy comes to us with 28 years of ministry experience including the Empowered Living television program and the Practical Christian Radio Program. Join him on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 AM to take part in our introspective and inspiring Bible Study class, and of course, come hear Rev. Guy Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM!
Administrative Manager/Financial Secretary
Diane is a life-long member of First Congregational Church and was proud to accept the position of Administrative Manager and Financial Secretary in 1995. Diane is a graduate of Port Huron Northern High School, St. Clair County Community College, Patricia Stevens Career College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and attended the University of Wisconsin. Early in her career she served as Collection and Foreclosure Manager with Mortgage Associates, Inc. in Milwaukee. Diane returned to Port Huron as Budget and Financial Analyst for Mueller Brass and later worked with JoAnn Wine and Associates Inc. Diane serves on the Scholarship Committee of the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. She is passionate about uniting the community to work together in service to God and all of His children. Diane’s lovable four legged friends include Sweet Pea, The Professor, and Lil’ Peanut, exotic Persian cats. Diane treasures time spent with her family.
Director of Music
Previously, Harry was the Music Minister at Immanuel Lutheran in St. Clair for 43 years. He has played for many different organizations over the years and is currently playing for the Voyager in St. Clair. Harry will be playing both traditional and contemporary music in our blended church service.
Part Time Custodian
Keith Sturdevant joined the staff in 2001 while he continued his studies. Keith is a graduate of Marysville High School and St. Clair County Community College. Keith likes cars, cruising small towns, and jet skiing.
Samantha is leading our children on Sunday mornings. She graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Baker College. She has worked with youth for close to ten years, running a character building program at The Salvation Army. Sam has also completed three internships working with several different populations, including persons in crisis and seniors with dementia. On top of all of this, she has been a Kroger employee for over 10 years. She is working to develop programs for the youth in our community to help build up skills that can be used later in their lives. In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time outdoors, and playing with her beagle, Penny. She loves doing different crafts, and creating new things. Sam is a cake decorator and love barbecues, as well as traveling and taking road trips.
Amber is assisting in Sunday School class on Sunday mornings. Amber is currently a Senior at Yale High School and has an interest in Childhood Development Education after graduation. She is an alternative caregiver with many years of experience, infant to preteen age. Her special interests include marching band, color guard and soccer at Yale High School.
Rev. Max Amstutz
Max serves as Chaplain of McLaren Port Huron and Marwood Nursing and Rehab. Max works with our homebound outreach program. This program is geared to coordinate and enhance our current Prayer Chain and Daily Prayer Ministry. He helps with our visitations services and any special pastoral support to our members.
Deidre is helping provide support in our office. She is responsible for the weekly bulletins, monthly newsletters, and website maintenance.
